The organization, founded in 1997, certifies all parts of the fishing industry, from fisheries and factories to restaurants and fish-and-chips shops, for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability.
The independent and non-profit organization Marine Stewardship Council has certified Skandi-Seafoods along with its operations in Qingdao, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
In addition, our major supplier Ocean Trawlers is certified as a fishery. This means that when partnering with Skandi-Seafoods, you have an unbroken chain of traceability and sustainability from the sea to the plate of the customer.
